Equity compensation is measured in dates. An international move is also measured in dates. Where those two sets of dates overlap, employers, payroll providers, and two tax systems all have a view.

Keep the timeline

Grant agreements, vesting schedules, exercise confirmations, and sale records assembled contemporaneously are far easier to produce than reconstructed ones.
